AboutTritanopes
Calling this variation a blue-yellow 'blindness' is misleading; the struggle here is that this vision confuses blue with green and yellow with violet. Blue-green color blindness would be a more accurate name for this vision type, because the colors blue and yellow are usually not mixed up by tritanopes.
Tritanopes also have 2 varieies, both focused on the aspect of the short wavelength sensitive cones (S-cone) not working or being missing. People with Tritanopia have a missing S-cone. Those with Tritanomaly have a deficient their S-cone (Colblindor).
